Steak ‘n Shake’s Warsaw location is hosting a fundraiser for Winona Lake Limitless Park on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Each patron that presents the fundraiser voucher at checkout will have 10 percent of their bill donated to Winona Lake Limitless Park.

Carry-out orders are also able to participate by mentioning the park when ordering.

WHY: To raise funds for Phase II of the WLLP park improvement project

Construction on Phase I, the splash pad and a portion of the parking expansion, is forecasted for completion by late 2014. Phase II will include a beyond ADA-compliant playground, sensory stations for children with visual, auditory, and cognitive challenges, year-round restrooms, additional parking, new sidewalks and landscaping.

Winona Lake Limitless Park committee is actively pursuing the remaining capital needed for Phase II and its groundbreaking in 2015. The total cost of both phases is estimated at $2.2 million dollars.
