WINONA LAKE – Senior Allison Kauffman has sparked the Grace College women’s basketball team to a 3-0 start in the 2014-15 season.

After a strong week, Kauffman was named the Crossroads League’s Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Kauffman powered Grace to a pair of road victories with averages of 24.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. The Lady Lancers knocked off IU-South Bend and Trinity Christian last week.

Kauffman shot 90 percent from the free throw line and 48.3 percent from the field for the week. She had 26 points and nine rebounds versus IU-South Bend, who is receiving votes in the NAIA poll.

The Lady Lancers continue play on Saturday with a home game against Indiana Tech at 1 p.m.
