Awesome Hobbies in Warsaw is gearing up for Monster Truck Mondays.

“Well we are bringing some excitement to the indoor track here starting Monday, Nov. 3 and every Monday after,” says Awesome Hobbies co-owner Jamie Norris. “This is a scale monster jam for RC trucks.”

“We’re trying to do something different,” Bill Norris, co-owner, says. “Who doesn’t like to ramp something and smash an old car body.”

Those who want to race can bring their own truck or rent one from Awesome Hobbies. Rental fee is $10.

Bill says if the turnout is ample they may host a big trophy race at the end of the season. “We usually get 25 to 30 people in here,” he says.

The track will be open every Monday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Racers can stop by any time.
