The host Falcons made it 11 straight sectional titles Saturday night with a 3-0 win over NorthWood in the Class 3-A Fairfield Sectional.

Fairfield topped the Panthers by a 25-18, 25-21, 25-18 count to win the program’s 12th overall sectional championship.

The Falcons, now 25-11, will play at No. 2 Fort Wayne Concordia Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in a regional match. The winner of that contest advances to the Twin Lakes Semistate on Saturday to play either No. 1 Mishawaka Marian or West Lafayette in a semifinal match.

Concordia, which defeated Leo 3-0 Saturday night to win its own sectional title, defeated Fairfield 25-8, 25-20, 25-27, 25-18 in the regional a year ago. Concordia went on to finish as the Class 3-A state runner-up after losing 3-0 to Brebeuf in the state championship match.

Hannah Siegel led the way for Fairfield Saturday night with 12 kills and six key service aces.

Kennedy Wiens had 12 kills for NorthWood, which finishes its season at 18-16.

Fairfield defeated Lakeland 25-12, 25-18, 25-15 and NorthWood topped Wawasee 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 in sectional semifinal action earlier on Saturday.
