UPDATE: According to a conservation officer with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources the driver of the ATV has been identified as Leslie Mast, 26 years old. Mast was reportedly driving too fast on her ATV, without a helmet, to complete a turn and took a ditch instead of colliding with another ATV rider. Mast was thrown from her ATV.

Officials report her injuries were not substantial and she was released from South Bend Memorial Hospital the following morning.

INITIAL REPORT: Nappanee Fire Department and EMS has been called to respond to a reported ATV accident located on 900 North and 1100 West.

According to reports, Medflight was been called to the scene. One patient has been airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
