At 2 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, Oct.  23, Warsaw Narcotics officers served two warrants on County Road 175 East, on the north side of Warsaw, following undercover purchases from two (2) suspects back in May and June 2014.

Officers arrested the following people: Tanya N. Helser, 39 years old, of Warsaw, for dealing methamphetamine, a Class B felony; and Jim E. Waid, 34 years old, of Warsaw, for dealing methamphetamine, a Class B felony.

Both suspects were charged under the old criminal code (prior to July 1) and both suspects were held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $5,000 surety bonds.

Warsaw narcotics officers were assisted by the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Warsaw Police continues to diligently work to reduce the influence of illegal drug activity in our community. Any drug tips can be called into the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9540.
