It’s the time of the season for spooky adventures. Scary happenings are coming to the La Porte County Historical Society Museum.
Join us Saturday, Oct. 25, for a hair-raising time as we learn about real experiences from our own back yard in La Porte County.
County historian Fern Eddy Schultz will be giving her program “Hauntings of La Porte County.”
Also, visitors have been writing down some of their ghostly stories to be kept on file at the museum. These all will be read –some by the people that experienced them.
Come and share your stories of unexplained happenings while enjoying some refreshments. The spider eggs are really delicious.
Ferns program starts at 1 p.m. in the meeting room in the museum and sharing time will follow.
In addition, kids under the age of 12 in costume can trick-or-treat through the period rooms of the museum from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Various characters will be passing out goodies at that time and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
The La Porte County Historical Society Museum is located at 2405 Indiana Ave., in La Porte and is accessible to those with disabilities.
