The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that SR 19 between Lincoln Street and Randolph Street is scheduled to close at the morning of Wednesday Oct., 15 as CXS rebuilds their railroad crossings.

The work, which will improve the driving surface for motorists, is expected to be complete by the evening of Friday, Oct. 24. All work is weather permitting.

The official detour is SR 19 to Indiana Avenue to Jackson Street and US 6.
