AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School volleyball teams competed versus Whitko.

Valley won the 7th grade A match 25-16, 25-11. Aleah Cole led the winners with six aces and four kills and Ally Betten had six aces and two kills.

Alli Miller had five aces for Valley in the win. Other top players were Mckenzie Woodcox, Caleigh Byrer, Emily Murphy, Kaitlyn Lewis and Amy Baca.

Whitko won the 7th grade B match 25-17. Top players for Valley were Lewis, Baca, Shakira Vail, Amber Evans, Alexis Michael, Valeria Jimenez, Alivia Taylor and Shaylee Ryman.

Whitko won the 8th grade A match in three sets. Morgan Olivarez had seven assists and Sophie Bussard 10 kills for Valley. Other top players were Sydney Howard, Marlea Myers, Shayleigh Shriver, Hannah Durkes and Hannah Jansma.

Whitko won the 8th grade B match 25-17. Top players for Valley were Sarah Myers, Mckenzie Oldham, Mckenna Bradley and Rachael Randall.
