UPDATE: Accident Old SR 15 South Of Milford

UPDATE: Luanne Harmon, 48, West CR 550N, Warsaw, and Michael A. Whitaker, 31, Toledo Road, Elkhart, were taken to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, following a one-vehicle accident at 2:36 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12. The accident was on Old SR 15, south of East Mock Road, south of Milford.

Harmon complained of pain to her head. Whitaker, a passenger in the vehicle, complained of shoulder/upper arm pain.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department reports Harmon was northbound on Old SR 15, when her dog climbed into the front seat, causing her to loose control of the vehicle.

The vehicle left the west side of the roadway, went over to the east side and rolled over several times. The police report states Whitaker was allegedly ejected from the vehicle.

Damage was estimated up to $25,000 to the vehicle and a mailbox owned by Kelly L. Duncan, North Old SR 15, Milford.

INITIAL: Milford Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department are responding to an accident on Old SR 15, between CR 1000N and Mock Road.

According to Reporter Deb Patterson, two individuals were injured as a result of the collision, one male and one female, and are reportedly being taken to Lutheran Hospital. A pit bull was within a vehicle involved in the accident and is reportedly uninjured.
