The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final to a strong Rochester team Monday night.

The visiting Zebras, who are ranked No. 7 in Class 3-A, topped the Vikings 25-17, 25-14, 25-17 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Senior star Caylie Teel topped the Vikings with 14 kills to go with eight digs and a pair of blocks.

Alexis O’Connell came up with five kills and eight digs for Valley. Jaden Biddle led the defense with 12 digs.

Abby Betten had three kills and two blocks for Valley and Tenaya Shull had 12 assists.

Valley, now 16-9 overall and 3-2 in the TRC, plays at league foe Whitko Wednesday night.
