LAKEVILLE – The LaVille defense put the clamps on Triton Friday night.

The host Lancers allowed the Trojans just 88 total yards of offense in pitching a 31-0 shutout in Northern State Conference play.

Mason Leed scored on runs of one and 12 yards and also kicked a field goal to lead LaVille to the league win.

The host Lancers, who improve to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in the NSC, out gained Triton 277-88.

Triton drops to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the NSC with its sixth straight loss.

Triton hosts Knox next Friday night in conference action.
