The Whitko girls soccer team closed out its regular season Wednesday evening with a 1-1 tie with Columbia City.

Mady Overmeyer notched the goal for the host Wildcats. Heather Bryan and Reghan Craig assisted on the score.

Ilyssa Bennett had 13 saves in goal for Whitko. Bryan had six shots on goal, Craig three and Mikayla Findley one.

Whitko, now 2-11-2, will face South Adams on Monday in the opening game of the Class 1-A Fort Wayne Luers Sectional at 5 p.m.
