No matter your age, there will be a variety of fun activities at the Syracuse Fall Harvest Festival available to you from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 11. And this annual festival has grown so much over the years that it is going to be hosted at Lakeside Park, located along North Shore Drive in Syracuse.

The festival will be joined at the new location by the farmer’s market, offering the perfect opportunity for individuals to purchase tasty eats or do some early holiday shopping. The market will occur during the same span of time as the festival and is expected to have approximately 40 regular farmer’s market vendors.

Plenty of entertainment will be on hand during the festivities, too. Heartland Country Cloggers will perform from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Guitar Banjo Band following them from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pipsqueak and Clarabelle will be offering clown entertainment for children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Other activities will include hay rides, a petting zoo, pig races, pumpkin decorating, a cornhole tournament, potato sack races and other games. There will also be a coloring contest for children.
