On Sept. 2, Bourbon Police Officer Douglas Nordmann was informed of possible methamphetamine activity in the area of 420 E. Center St., in Bourbon. Upon his arrival, he was met by a female subject and led to a backpack containing precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine. Also in the bag were four pieces of paraphernalia related to the use of marijuana.

The Indiana State Police Meth team was called in to assist and dispose of all hazardous materials. The Bourbon Police Department would like to remind the town residents of the dangers of methamphetamine use and production, if you find something suspicious back away and notify the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
