Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 4:20 a.m. A firearm was found in a field/wooded area in the 1600 block of East 200 North, Warsaw.

North Webster Police Department
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following incident:

  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 11:55 a.m. An employee of CVS reported a white male subject was caught stealing a bottle of alcohol. The employee retrieved the bottle and filed the police report.

Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Monday, Aug. 25, 9:18 a.m. Robert Murphy reported a theft of a license plate from a vehicle in the 200 block of East Greenhaus Drive.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 2:39 a.m. Mark Royer reported criminal mischief in the 700 block of East Lake View Road.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 2:12 a.m. An officer went to a residence in the 4500 block of North 700 East, Leesburg, for an unknown reason.

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 12:27 p.m. Officers were called to Menard’s where a theft of several items was reported. The South Bend Police Department is working the case.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 8:08 a.m. A bicycle was found abandoned on Anchorage Road.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 3:30 a.m. Tina Prater reported criminal mischief occurred in the 1700 block of West Lake Street.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 3:16 a.m. Officers were called to the 600 block of South Buffalo Street where a runaway was believed to have stolen a vehicle.
  • Sunday, Aug. 24, 12:25 a.m. James Alan Artman, 35, of Warsaw, was arrested for drunk driving in the 1400 block of West Winona Avenue.
