FORT WAYNE – The Warsaw boys and girls soccer teams had their games scheduled for Saturday cancelled.

Both Tiger teams were scheduled to take part in the Shindigz National Soccer Festival at the Fort Wayne Sports Club. The contests had to be cancelled due to field conditions after heavy rain Friday night.

The Warsaw boys team, ranked No. 10 in Class 2-A, will host Fort Wayne Northrop Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. Coach Scott Bauer’s team is 1-0 on the season after posting a 3-2 victory at Class 1-A No. 16 Argos on Tuesday.

The Warsaw girls squad will open Northern Lakes Conference play Tuesday night at Plymouth at 6:45 p.m. Coach Peter Lucht’s team also stands at 1-0 after notching a 1-0 win at Class 2-A No. 14 Mishawaka Marian last Tuesday.
