WARSAW – In the final major of the season, the BMX points races became a little more clear of the series State Races at Franke Park in Fort Wayne and Hire Park in Warsaw.

The two-day event started in Fort Wayne and ended in Warsaw, angling to the Indiana State Race Championships in Portage in mid-September.

The Hire Park points races have started to settle in with some clear-cut leaders. Jason Coleman is the top rider in both the boys and cruiser boys categories, leading the boys grid with 2,326 points, ahead of No. 2 Ben Brander’s 1,724 points. Coleman also is more than comfortable in the cruiser standings with 3,357 points, with Greg Jeffries in second at 999 points.

In the girls points standings, Maycee Nix is atop the leaderboards. Nix has 1,163 points in the girls division, with Michelle Marquis at 734 in second. The two ladies are also one-two in the girls cruiser division, with Nix at 859 and Marquis at 691.
