Kosciusko REMC is currently reporting roughly 3,000 power outages in the northern part of the county due to the storm that blew through at about 3:30 p.m. today.

NIPSCO is also reporting outages in Warsaw, Syracuse, Milford and Nappanee. Approximately 542 NIPSCO customers are without power. NIPSCO estimates power in the Milford and Syracuse areas could be restored by around 5:45 p.m. while Warsaw and Nappanee customers could have to wait until 8 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. tonight.
