NORTH MANCHESTER – April Bishop led the way for the Whitko girls’ golf team Tuesday.

Bishop captured medalist honors with a 9-hole total of 43 as the host Wildcats lost to Southern Wells.

Southern Wells shot 222 to edge past Whitko, which shot 226, in action at Sycamore Golf Club.

Elizabeth Gensch shot a 56 and Claire Reiff had a 61 for Whitko. Aurelia Slusher carded a 66 and Kirsten Crawford a 72 for the hosts.
