The Warsaw Tigers 12U travel baseball team captured the championship of the Northern Indiana Open Sunday.

The Tigers defeated the Michiana Hurricanes 5-4 at Concord High School to claim the title.

Members of the championship team were Jacob Hutcherson, Tristin Grubbs, Conner Bale, Thaddeus Baker, Luis Alonzo, Joe WIlkinson, Gage Lyon, Chandler Farmer, Alonso Contreras, Zack Weaver and Drew McCleary.

Coaches for the Tigers were Ryan Weaver, Matt Wilkinson, Jeremy Lyon and Scott Hutcherson.

The Tigers will hold tryouts for the 2015 season on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 10-1 at the CCAC in Warsaw.  Players can register online at www.indianalazers.com.
