UPDATE: A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of four Kosciusko County men Wednesday night in Warsaw.
According to a Warsaw Police Department report, at 8:31 p.m. an officer stopped a 2001 Chevy Impala at North Detroit Street and Lake City Highway. Inside the vehicle, the officer located methamphetamine and precursors used to manufacture meth.
Arrested were:
- Nicholas Alan Boardman, 20, of Mentone. He was arrested for possession of 2 or more regeants/precursors used for the manufacturing of methamphetamine and held on a $2,000 surety bond
- Tyler Anthony Hollingsworth, 30, of Warsaw. He was arrested for visiting a common nuisance and held on a $350 cash bond.
- Christopher Robert Sexton, 20, Warsaw. He was arrested for visiting a common nuisance and also held on a $350 cash bond.
The identity of the fourth person arrested has not yet been released.
BREAKING: Warsaw Police and firefighters on the scene of a meth-related incident in Warsaw.
The event is happening on SR 15 at the U.S. 30 overpass. Reporter John Faulkner says, according to an officer on scene, a routine traffic stop was conducted on a passenger vehicle. The officer who made the stop located precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Four individuals were in the car and were taken to Warsaw Police Department for questioning. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Team is on scene testing the chemicals.
