After missing more than 2 full days of production, workers at the General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly plant are returning to work this afternoon. The company is asking second shift employees to return to the plant.

An apparent equipment failure by a supplier is to blame for the string of shift cancellations.

Employees are being asked to work Saturday to make up for the delay. The most recent scheduling information can be obtained by calling the GM Fort Wayne Information Line at 1-866-503-7755.
