In honor of Warsaw firefighter Joshua Engler who tragically lost his son earlier this week, the Winona Lake Volunteer Fire Department is postponing its 100th anniversary celebration. Instead of celebrating, the WLFD volunteers will staff the Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory so all WWFT firefighters can attend the funeral for Kurt Engler.

The anniversary celebration was scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A new date for the event has not yet been set.
