At approximately 5:30 p.m., emergency services were dispatched to a location on North Detroit Street, near Jimmy Johns, for a possible gas leak.

According to those on scene, a construction crew struck a gas line with a drill. Firefighters of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to block the area and NIPSCO has already arrived. The leak has been contained and the line is being repaired.
