MISHAWAKA – Tom Visker recently began his tenure as the new athletic director at Bethel College.

Visker has been at Bethel for the last 11 years, serving as a professor of kinesiology and the dean of humanities and education.

Visker served as baseball coach at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa for 22 years before coming to Bethel.

Visker replaces Jody Martinez, who had been the Bethel AD the last four years and the women’s basketball coach the last 17. Martinez recently left Bethel to accept a coaching position at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
