Neva Patterson, 90, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away June 29, 2014, at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake, Ind.
She was born June 10, 1924, in North Grove, Ind., to Waldo David and Verle (Morris) David. She graduated from Pierceton High School in 1942. She married William Eugene Patterson, on Oct. 17, 1953, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and a homemaker. Neva was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw; in years past she belonged to the Crossroads Homemakers Club; stay-at-home mom who gently loved and cared for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons: David Patterson, Warsaw; Kenneth (Cynthia) Patterson, Syracuse, Ind.; daughter: Karen (Joe) Patrick, Syracuse; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: Michael Patterson; grandson: Johnathon Patterson; a sister: Wanita Wertenberger; and a brother: Doran David.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday July 2, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Worth of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
