WINONA LAKE – The Kosciusko County Basketball Hall of Fame inducted its latest class Friday night in a ceremony held at the Orthopaedic Capital Center on the campus of Grace College.

Celebrating basketball greatness from the area in the 1950s and 1960s, 14 individuals as well as the 1957-58 Etna Green basketball teams were honored. Official John Lozier was among the list, who was recognized for his playing days at Leesburg as well as his service as a basketball official.

Guest speaker for the evening was former Indiana high school star, Kansas national champion, and three-time NBA champion Clyde Lovellette.

Joining Lozier in the Hall were Everett Rookstool, Beaver Dam; Charlie McKenzie, Claypool; John Oldfather, Etna Green; Ed Stine, Etna Green; John Stookey, Leesburg; Jon Cullum, Mentone; Jim Teel, Mentone; Sam Popenfoose, North Webster; Larry Mauzy, North Webster; Ray Slusher, Pierceton; Garth Cone, Pierceton; John Kroh, Syracuse; and Terry Klondaris, Warsaw.
