Nancy L. Beer, 73 of Leesburg, Ind., passed away at 3:53 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Parkview North, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1940, to Gerald and Jean (Hall) McHatton in Peru, Ind. She was united in marriage to Theodore A. Beer on April 9, 1961, in Warsaw, Ind.

She has been a Kosciusko County resident since 1992. She was a co-owner of eight convenience stores in northern Indiana and a homemaker. She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church, the North Webster American Legion Post # 253 auxiliary and Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.

Nancy is survived by her husband; one son: Jason (Kristine) Beer, Sea Grove Beach, Fla.; two sisters: Judy (Don) Wray, Warsaw; Barbara (John) Knipp, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two grandchildren: Alex and Caroline Beer, Sea Grove Beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, June 20 at the North Webster United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, at the church with Pastor David Smitley officiating.
