Dorothy L. Murrin, 88, formerly of Cromwell, Ind., passed away March 28, 2014, in Palo Heights, Ill. 

She was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Richmond, Calif., to Peter and Anna (Petsch) Petersen. 

She is survived by her two sons: John Murrin and William Murrin; a daughter: Linda (Richard) Sreniawski; and five grandchildren. 

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse, Ind.
