Each year at Pierceton Elementary 5th grade recognition, a student is honored with the Jamie Eppleman Award.

Jamie, while a fourth-grade student at PES, was tragically killed in a car accident, along with other members of her family. Jamie was a wonderful young girl and had many great characteristics. She was very caring and respectful of staff and peers. She always had a smile no matter what kind of day she was having. Jamie was careful not to judge and always put others first.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed laughing at herself as well as laughing with others. She was always trying to improve and learn from her mistakes.

This year’s Jamie Award was presented to Bryce Rhodes.
