WARSAW –  Warsaw point guard Eryn Leek has been a fixture in the Tigers’ lineup the past four seasons, and the senior standout has signed a letter of intent to play for Holy Cross College.

As a four-year starter, Leek helped guide coach Michelle Harter’s Tigers to a tremendous 61-27 record, including a 24-2 mark as a junior when the Tigers captured sectional and regional titles earning a Class 4A Final Four berth.

While Leek’s tremendous play netted her Northern Lakes Conference honorable mention and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State Honorable mention selections as a senior, her work in the classroom has been tremendously impressive as well.  The senior compiled a remarkable 10.72 (12-point scale) Grade Point Average through four years at WCHS.

While Leek helped guide the Tigers during the season, she was also busy in the summer, helping her AAU team this past year to a trip to the Nike Invitational where they were one of only 16 teams nationwide invited to the tournament.

Leek intends to double major in psychology and pre-professional science while competing for the Saints and Head coach Aimee Niespodziany.  Holy Cross, located in South Bend, is a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
