A new location of McDonald’s in Warsaw is now projected to open for business by Friday, July 11.
NIPSCO crews were on scene Tuesday night working to connect power to the building and Todd Slabaugh, building commissioner for Warsaw, said he is expected to complete an inspection on the restaurant’s commercial cooking equipment as early as this week. Some issues with the electric capabilities were discovered, which has delayed the opening approximately 3 weeks, said Slabaugh.
The new location along North Detroit Street by Lowe’s provides two drive-through lanes. The franchised store becomes the third McDonald’s location for Warsaw.
