Conrad and Lois (Evans) Neff, 19969 CR 46, New Paris, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married May 30, 1964, at the Christian Church of Milford by Carl Shearer.

They have a daughter, Sarah (Chris) Tharp; and two grandchildren, Glen and Jessica Tharp.

A surprise family celebration was held May 31 at Sunnyside Park, New Paris.

Conrad retired in 1991 from Fairfield Schools — 20 years as a teacher and 16 years as principal of New Paris Elementary. He also taught in Goshen Community Schools prior to his years with Fairfield.

Lois was a third-grade teacher at Milford Elementary from 1960 to 1966, then a homemaker, mother and substitute teacher.
