Kosciusko Employment Exceeds 2008, Unemployment Drops

employement.131149In April 2014, Department of Labor data released indicates Kosciusko County has finally exceeded the pre-recessionary 2008 total employed number.

In April 2014, 38,492 people were employed in the county, exceeding the 2008 monthly average of 38,486. Unemployment has fallen below the full employment metric of 5% to 4.1%.

“This is great news for the County and its citizens,” noted KEDCo President George Robertson. “It is also a testament to the high quality, strong employers in this county.”
