The third grade students from Pierceton Elementary and South Whitley Elementary held their annual Pen Pal Picnic at the Pierceton Park on Friday, May 23.

They have been writing to each other all year. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed getting to know each other and playing together. This is the first time the Whitko class of 2023 has met. Many lifelong friendships have begun on this day and we’re sure the tradition will continue.
