GOSHEN – It was a night of personal best performances all the way around for the Lakeland Christian Academy track team Tuesday.

LCA athletes turned in season best efforts versus Elkhart Christian in competition held at Goshen College.

The 800 meter run saw the top two efforts for the Cougars.

Melissa Goss placed second in the event with a time of 2:56, a personal best by 11 seconds. Carissa Urschalitz was third in the 800 with a time of 3:01, a personal best by nine seconds.

Goss also posted a top jump of 13-4 in the long jump.

Colby Stevens was fourth in the 200 with a personal best time of 28.09. Cassy Myer, in her first season ever running track, was fifth in the 200 with a top personal time of 32.28.
