Builders Association Kosciusko-Fulton Counties

The Builders Association Kosciusko-Fulton Counties is pleased to announce the members chosen as April Associate Member and April Builder Member.

Carol Ousley, Kosciusko REMC, was chosen as the April Associate Member. Carol is the Kosciusko REMC Energy Advisor and Key Accounts contact. Larry Coplen GMB owns and operates Coplen Construction Inc., a multi-award winning custom home building and remodeling company. Both members were honored at the April meeting.

Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer was welcomed as the guest speaker. Mayor Thallemer shared information about the city, current activities, and the comprehensive plan currently underway. Mayor Thallemer stated “People have to like where they live and then work there. We need to take our natural assets (like lakes) and incorporate them.” The city is also working on diversity, walkability, and the new tech park, among other priorities. One of the goals is to make the community attractive to young professionals, in addition to families with children and empty nesters.
