Students and community members gathered at Jefferson Elementary this week to enjoy both history and entertainment during Jefferson’s sixth-grade classes fourth annual wax museum.

Over 60 students selected and researched a historical character and many chose to dress in costumes and utilize props to create a more realistic presentation of their character. Every classroom at Jefferson was able to sign up for a time to tour the “museum.” Over 400 student visitors attended the wax museum with many parents, family members and community members attending to hear the historical stories as well.
