Effective Monday, May 5, inmate visitation hours at the Elkhart County Correctional Complex will be reduced due to temporary staffing issues. The following changes will be implemented:

1. Visitations will only occur on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
2. Visitation hours will be 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on those days

There will be no reduction in the number of visits allowed per week, only the times that they will occur. The schedule for inmate visits by last name will not change. The Elkhart County Jail apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and hopes to be back at full staff as soon as possible.
