BOURBON – The Triton girls tennis team made quick work of Whitko Tuesday.
The host Trojans lost a total of 10 games on the five courts in blanking the Wildcats by a 5-0 count.
Kaelyn Mason at No. 1 singles and the No. 1 doubles duo of Holly Stogsdill and Carrie Slabaugh led the way for the winners.
Mason topped Abby Marshall 6-0, 6-0 for the Trojans. Stogsdill and Slabaugh also won a 6-0, 6-0 final, defeating Kirstyn Womack and Delaney Keim.
Shayla May won at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mikayla Findley. Kylie Mason completed the singles sweep by stopping Erin Murphy 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
The duo of Michal Scherer-Berry and Cassie Irons completed the shutout for Triton with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Morgan Keim and Aurelia Slusher at No. 2 doubles.
Triton won the junior varsity match 1-0. Kaylene Slabaugh posted an 8-6 win for the JV Trojans.
Triton is now 4-1 on the season, while Whitko falls to 0-3.
