FRANKLIN – Several members of the Warsaw boys track team competed in the Franklin Central Distance Showcase Friday night.

The meet featured some of the top performers in the state.

The top performance for the Tigers was turned in by its 4 X 400 relay team. The quartet of Landon Perry, Chad Goon, Ryan Goon and Chad Furnivall posted a third-place finish with a time of 3:27.33.

Warsaw also got a seventh-place finish from its 4 X 800 relay team. The foursome of Daniel Messenger, Ismael Calderon, Nick Bergen and Tyler Houvener clocked in at 8:21.26.

Senior Ellis Coon placed 14th in the 1,600 run for Warsaw with a time of 4:21.65.

Warsaw, 3-0 on the season, returns to action Thursday night with a Northern Lakes Conference meet at Elkhart Memorial versus the host Crimson Chargers and Goshen.
