Beth Ann Mayhew, 69, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1944, in La Porte, Ind.,to Guy Virgil and Thelma Inez (Crum) Anglemyer. She was a lifetime Walkerton/Syracuse area resident and attended Lakeville High School. She was married on Oct. 7, 1994, to Lyle R. Mayhew.

She formerly worked at the Citco Convenience Store in North Webster, Ind., as a manager for several years, Frog Tavern in Syracuse and Syracuse Café.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter: Tina (Steve) Phipps, Warsaw, Ind.; a son: Tracy (Renee) Minnix, Syracuse; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; step-sons: Rob Mayhew and Mark Mayhew, Syracuse; and sister: Linda Jensen, Apache Junction, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Troy Minnix; infant daughter: Carol Minnix; and two brothers: Del and David Anglemyer.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
