WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that the SR 9 bridge over Catfish Creek, located six miles north of Columbia City, will be closed on Friday, April 11, at 6 a.m.

Work includes a new concrete bridge deck and rehabilitation of two piers.

The official detour is U.S. 30 to SR 109 to U.S. 33 to SR 9. The closure will remain in effect until early August.

The project was awarded to Primco for the low bid of $750,000.
