A community pancake, sausage and egg breakfast will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. or until food is gone Saturday, April 26, in the fellowship hall at Akron Church of God, 301 S. West St., Akron.

The meal will be cooked and served by the steering committee and pastors of United We Stand Ministries and their families. Cost is a free will donation. Proceeds from the event will be used to offer financial assistance to area families in need.
