Nappanee Center Looking For Quilts
Do you have a quilt that tells a Nappanee story or commemorates a special event? Do you have a quilt that has been passed down through generations of your family? Perhaps your club has created a quilt as a community fund raiser?

If you have a quilt made in or by someone from Nappanee, the Nappanee Center would like to include it in its 2014 Quilt Exhibit. Climb into the attic, open up the cedar chest, and share your heirloom with the entire community!

“Patchwork in Nappanee” will be on display May 30 through Sept. 30, at the Nappanee Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

If you or someone you know owns a quilt that tells a Nappanee story, please contact Martha at 574-773-7919 or [email protected].

April Lego Club
The next meeting of the Nappanee Public Library Lego Club is scheduled for April 17. Kids ages 5 and older are invited to take part in age-group-appropriate challenges and free building time from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at the library. This month’s building challenge is “Dream Vacation.”

No registration is required, and parents are welcome to stay and participate. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult. All materials will be provided.

For more information, call the Library at 574-773-7919, or go to www.nappaneelibrary.org.

The Nappanee Public Library will close at noon Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday. Regular hours will resume from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 19. The library will be closed Easter Sunday, April 20.
