For the last several weeks Milford has been under a freeze warning. Townspeople were encouraged to leave a small trickle of water running at night to prevent pipes from freezing and bursting.

The warning was officially lifted this morning by Milford Utilities Superintendent Randy Veach. It is no longer necessary to leave faucets on at night.

Any Milford residency who incurred added utilities cost due to the extra water usage can call Milford Town Clerk Joellen Free at 574-658-4519 or stop by Milford Town Hall for adjustments.
