SYRACUSE – The Junior Achievement Stars and Stripes 5K Run/Walk is currently accepting registration for the May 17 event in Syracuse.

The 9 a.m. race will start at Lakeside Fitness in Syracuse. There are racing groups for ages 12 to 70-plus, with awards going to the top three finishers in each age group.

Registration done through May 16 is $20 per entrant and registration done on race day is $25 per entrant. Anyone registering by May 9 will receive a free T-shirt. Proceeds from the race will go to support Junior Achievement serving Wawasee.
