Ivy Tech Hosts Second Chance Law Day
Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Public and Social Services will hold Second Chance Law Day: Opening Doors to a Second Chance, a seminar on criminal record expungement, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the South Bend campus 220 Dean Johnson Blvd, in the Ivy Café.
Some of the feature topics include a 10:15 a.m. Q and A session along with free consultations from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The seminar will also feature information on the current Indiana expungement law as well as information on how a criminal arrest record could be cleared to aid an individual in gaining better employment, housing and education.
Those interested in learning more about eligibility requirements for expungement are encouraged to bring a criminal history report, BMV record and parole discharge letter.
