The merging of two banks will result in permanent reductions of several jobs in the Fort Wayne area. The March 10 notice sent to Indiana Department of Workforce Development’s Dislocated Worker Unit notes 41 full-time employees are expected to loss their jobs.

Old National Bancorp, headquartered in Evansville, announced its pending merger with Tower Financial Corp. Job losses are expected to begin May 16. The job losses will be in the Fort Wayne area.
